Day 2 NaPoWriMo Poetry Challenge - Surreal Poem

An unattainable desire
All around watcher
A plastic bag in the wind
A drifter going with the flow
A lost traveler lying low

*Challenge:
Pick 5-10 words & write out a what is question for each word you've selected. Now for each question - write out a one line answer. Try to make the answer an image, and don’t worry about strict logic. These are surrealist answers, after all!
After you’ve written out your series of questions and answers, place all the answers, without the questions, on a new page. See if you can make a poem of just the answers. You may find that what you have is very beautifully mysterious, and somehow has its own logic.

Day 1 NaPoWriMo Poetry Challenge - Book Cover

Can you judge a book by its cover?
A sky by its clouds
The sun by the length of its rays

The way the clouds move
to hide the sun

fighting to shine

Can you find the beauty
in the shade of the clouds
the warmth of the sun
the Masque of the day?

Day 9 Napowrimo Poetry Challenge - Sonnet (traditional or untraditional)
